Selection process information

Terms and conditions.

At OSM Aviation Group we offer airlines worldwide to take care of their air crew members.

We offer the complete value chain from recruitment to training, planning of flight duty, employment and HR management. All operational matters like uniforms and operational manuals and procedures will be handled by the airline you fly for. All the HR matters during your employment are handled by OSM. This means that we have our local HR staff and Management with local knowledge at the crew bases/offices to support you in all kinds of personal matters. We strive to be a good employer and a good partner for our airline partners - trustworthy and committed. Our motto at OSM is; it is all about people. This is where you come in: We wish to ensure the availability of professional well-trained pilots to our largest customer Norwegian and their Boeing 737 fleet. You will join our group of 2,800 air crew members in 18 countries and be our highest priority and asset. You will be part of a company with a bright future ahead; in 2017, we expect to double the number of crew members we take care of.

Once you have completed your online application with FTEJerez, your application will be reviewed. If you meet the essential criteria, you will be sent a link to a questionnaire for the phase 2 assessment. Candidates who are shortlisted from this phase will be invited to attend an assessment event in Jerez for further evaluation.

If you are successful, able and willing, your journey towards becoming a qualified Boeing 737 pilot with OSM Aviation Group and Norwegian will begin in the autumn of 2017 in FTEJerez.

We wish you the very best with your application and after that, the chance of a challenging and exciting career in the air.

The Mentored Airline Pilot Scheme is well established as an FTEJerez programme for low hour entry to partner airlines. This is a great opportunity for people who want to be involved in working in a fast paced, hi-tech airline that offers significant opportunities and career progression to its staff.

OSM is the first supplier of crews for Norwegian, which mainly operate the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The B737 offers comfort for up to 189 passengers with a cruise speed of 858 kph.

We are looking for high calibre, motivated individuals who are keen to work for one of Europe’s largest airlines.

To be eligible for this scheme, at least an English level 4 on the ICAO scale (B2/C1 of the CEFR) is required. In addition, candidates must have native proficiency (ICAO 6 / C2) in either Spanish or Italian.

Furthermore, you must have achieved your secondary education diploma, or be on track to achieve it no later than October 2017 (i.e. Bachillerato, Maturità, or equivalent). For countries where there is not a final diploma at the end of secondary school, such as the UK, you must have achieved a minimum of 2 A-Level passes, Grade C or above (or equivalent), and have 5 GSCE passes including Maths, English and a Science subject at Grade C or above, as well as the right to live and work in the EU.

If successful, you will have to fund FTE’s ATPL programme.
