Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training

FTE’s A-UPRT provides pilots with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience of unusual attitudes as well as how to avoid and recover from them. Holding an A-UPRT is also an EASA requirement in order to complete an initial type rating course.

The Course

Ground School
  • 10 hours including tuition time (4 hrs.) and self-study (6 hrs.).
Flying
  • Familiarisation, Slow Flight and Stalling Revision: 1.0 hours
  • Recoveries from Upset Situations (Basic): 1.0 hours
  • Recoveries from Upset Situations (Advanced): 1.0 hours
  • Total hours: 3.0
Total Price
  • 2,000 €

Selection & Candidate profile

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Requirements
  • Holder of a valid Frozen ATPL EASA Licence.
  • Valid Medical Class 1.
  • ICAO level 4 minimum.
