FerroNATS is the result of a joint venture between Ferrovial Servicios, international leader in providing efficient solutions in urban and environmental services and in the maintenance of infrastructures and facilities, and NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic services and solutions. As a result of this venture, FerroNATS has become the leading commercial ATC provider in Spain.
Since the first generation of FTEJerez ATC controllers commenced training in 2011, many of our graduates are currently working for towers managed by FerroNATS, safely guiding thousands of aircraft through the Spanish Airspace System. Candidates interested in training at FTEJerez are required to apply through our website. When applying for an FTEJerez ATC course you will be required to undertake several assessments that will be conducted by FTEJerez and FerroNATS. After a thorough evaluation, only the best 12 candidates will be offered a place.
If you are one of the selected candidates, from the moment you commence your training at FTEJerez your progression will be constantly supervised by FerroNATS. This mentorship will not only guarantee that your training will be up to the highest standards demanded by the industry, but will also give you significant exposure to Spain’s leading ATC private provider, enhancing your career opportunities on completion of the course. Due to this partnership, all students enrolling on the course and completing the course to an adequate standard will be included in the FerroNATS and FTEJerez preferential recruitment pool.
Furthermore, FerroNATS ensures employment for the 5 most excellent students of each course. The selection process will be divided in two phases: before course commencement, 3 cadets will receive a conditional employment guarantee, based on their assessment and interview scores. And, by the end of the course, 2 other students will directly be offered an employment at the company. This guarantee is subject to the student successfully passing each element of the training course to a satisfactory standard. In addition, all students who pass the course (apart from the 5 selected) will be directly included in the FerroNATS and FTEJerez Employment Exchange Programme.
