A special gala dinner event was held at the Hotel Palacio Garvey in Jerez on Friday evening to celebrate the graduation of Courses120, 121 and 122 (BACF MPL). The group of 22 FTEJerezgraduates included a number of self sponsored cadets as well as cadets sponsored by British Airways, BACityFlyer, and Middle East Airlines.
Guests of honour at the occasion were, among others, Captain Paul Smiles, Head of Industrial Relations, Strategy and Resources at BA, BACF Captains Carl Phelan, Stephen Cook and Dave Fox (GM Operations, Training And Fleet Managers respectively) as well as Captain Nadim Ayat of MEA whose son was amongst the MEA graduates receiving his wings from his father.
Captain Smiles, who delivered the keynote speech at the occasion, congratulated all the cadets on successfully completing their training at FTE and wished them well as they embarked on what he described as the “best career in the world”.
The latest graduation ceremony coincides with the first of the current round of BA FPP cadets that trained at FTE about to commence their line flying as British Airways First Officers.
FTEJerez would like to congratulate the graduates on having completed this demanding course and wish the new graduates every success in their careers.
