In what is another milestone for FTEJerez, the college is pleased to announce that it recently received approval from the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (AESA) to deliver Experienced Air Traffic Controller training to convert non-civilian ATC qualifications to civilian ATC licences in accordance with European licence standards.
In receiving this approval, FTEJerez became the first ATC training organisation in Spain to be granted this authorisation.
The first six candidates with non-civilian ATC qualifications recently commenced their training at FTEJerez.
In welcoming the candidates to its Jerez campus, the college’s CEO Oscar Sordo said that FTEJerez was ‘indeed proud to again be at the forefront of European aviation training’.
He also wished the candidates everything of the best whilst working on obtaining their civilian qualifications “in an ideal aviation training environment where students from all over the world work hard to become the future airline captains and ATC controllers of tomorrow”.
