Last Friday a group of Navy Officers from the Spanish Navy completed a familiarisation course at FTE’s campus, prior to the helicopter and jet training they will receive in the US. This is the fourth course from the Spanish Navy to complete this introductory training at FTEJerez.

The training includes flight training on FTE’s fleet of single and multi-engine aircraft, as well as back-seating in multi-crew operations in the academy’s new A320 simulator and an introduction to ATC operations in FTE’s state-of-the-art tower and radar sims. The course is designed to provide the students with a greater familiarity of the airborne environment and a practical appreciation of the cockpit working environment and the workload associated with critical phases of flight.
