FTEJerez has celebrated the graduation ceremony, followed by a gala dinner at the González-Byass Bodegas, for courses 210, 211 and 212.
During this ceremony, 33 cadets from the UK, France, Malta, Portugal, Pakistan, Algeria and Spain were awarded with their wings. Among them are 9 Silver Lining ATPL students, who graduated after transferring from a different ATO due to the difficulties they were experiencing in completing their training with their former flight training provider. This graduation has been the first since the pandemic which has been able to be celebrated without restrictions. A total of 130 guests attended.
Oscar Sordo, FTEJerez CEO, congratulated the newly graduated cadets during his speech, and shared positive news regarding imminent recruitment opportunities with FTE’s airline partners, reconfirming FTE’s commitment to assist each and every one of them with their future airline employment.
Guest of honour for the occasion was Captain Ricardo Galache Pardo, Manager at Flight Operations with Flynas. Captain Galache, during his speech, encouraged the graduates to consider the many opportunities that exist for pilots to expand their career within an airline, combining flying with responsibilities in areas such as flight operations, SMS, quality, and others. Captain Galache also reminded them that: “even when you are not flying, always stay close to aeroplanes while you are waiting for your next job as a pilot”.
Everyone at FTEJerez would like to congratulate the graduates on their achievement, wishing them all the best for the future.
