When Amy Bannister flew her father around Jerez a few weeks ago, Captain Mike Bannister beamed after they landed stating that it was one of the greatest days in his life.

Well, judging by the smile on the former British Airways Concorde Chief Pilot’s face at Amy’s recent graduation from the FTEJerez Academy, this occasion wasn’t far behind the flight they had together!

Captain Bannister kindly agreed to be FTEJerez’s guest of honour at the gala event and following his congratulatory speech to the graduates, you could clearly see on all faces that his words of inspiration had hit the mark.

FTEJerez is also proud to announce that Captain Bannister donated a Floating Trophy (a mounted part of a Concorde turbine blade) for Outstanding Overall Performance during a particular course. All of us here at FTEJerez would like to thank him for this very special gesture.

Our best wishes accompany Amy as she embarks on her career. Concorde no longer grace our skies but who knows where she will end up?
