FTEJerez is proud to announce that the College has been chosen by Barcelona based Vueling, to provide the airline with FTEJerez graduates for employment with the company.  Vueling is one of Europe’s most dynamic and fast growing airlines currently serving more than 100 destinations around Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. The cadets will receive the appropriate training to guarantee and maintain the high safety standards Vueling commits to, as holders of the IOSA certification; the highest safety endorsement granted by IATA.

Vueling’s choice of FTEJerez  as a provider of quality trained pilots to be employed as the airline’s future captains, is further proof of the high regard the international aviation community has for the quality training FTEJerez provides. Vueling  joins a long list of leading international airlines either entrusting FTEJerez with the training of their cadet pilots or sourcing their pilots  from the college. Current clients training their cadets at FTEJerez include British Airways, Emirates, Qatar airways, Aer Lingus, Flybe, Middle East Airlines, to name but a few. What also makes the Vueling announcement special is the fact that the airline is the first Spanish based airline to have contracted FTEJerez to provide them with highly trained pilots.

With this agreement, FTEJerez cadets with an outstanding academic background will have the opportunity to start their flying career with this successful Spanish airline.

FTEJerez CEO Oscar Sordo commented as follows: ‘We are extremely pleased with our new partnership with Vueling. Apart from it being great news for the college, it also means a lot to our graduates, knowing that if they excel, they stand a good chance to be offered a flight-deck position with Vueling’.
