FTEJerez is approved by AESA to conduct English Language Proficiency (ELP) testing and has also developed an Aviation English course to enable potential cadets to obtain ICAO level 4 standard.
FTEJerez has also been approved to assess Spanish and English for air traffic controllers.
In March 2008 it became a legal requirement for all pilots flying internationally to hold a minimum ICAO level 4 in English.
FTEJerez developed a unique testing system and in April 2010 became the first organisation to be formally approved to conduct English Language Proficiency (ELP) testing.
As well as being at the forefront of English language testing, FTEJerez has developed an Aviation English course to enable potential cadets to obtain ICAO level 4 standard. FTEJerez tests all non-native speaking students on integrated courses as part of the course fee. This, together with in house Radio Licence testing (RT), ensures that all FTEJerez students who graduate meet all licence issue requirements.
For those cadets who have an insufficient level of English, FTEJerez can offer a 11-week Intensive Aviation English course delivered at our campus.
Normally the courses have a duration of 11 weeks each.
